Our Plans for UNSPAM 2022 Events

Thank you for your patience as our ideas, plans, and this pandemic evolve. We know you’re concerned about the Covid, and so are we.

Covid-19 vaccination is a requirement to attend UNSPAM; no exceptions. In addition, the UNSPAM team and conference speakers will be boostered, (Boosted? Is that a word now?) and we highly encourage you to get your booster shot before attending too.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg because we want you to feel excited, comfortable, AND safe when you are at UNSPAM. So here's what else we have planned:

• UNSPAM attendees must upload their proof-of-vaccination in advance.
  ‍Our bouncers won't let anyone in who hasn't provided proof of vaccination.
• UNSPAM will be held at a venue with indoor and outdoor spaces that allow people to spread out some more. We are already limiting the number of attendees.
• We will encourage and welcome masking. Props to the people who bring the best / funniest masks.
• We will work with venue and hotel teams to go beyond local requirements and aim to send everyone home healthy, wealthy, and well-fed.
  Of course we can't make promises here, but that's our goal.
• Large amounts of hand sanitizer will be strategically positioned throughout the event. Lots. Mucho. We'll also remind people to wash up at breaks.
• Along the lines of reminding people, we have a health code overview that we'll present each day to make sure what good hygiene looks like.

If You Are Sick

If you have a temperature, are showing any potential symptoms of COVID-19, have tested positive for COVID-19, or have been in close contact with anyone that has tested positive for COVID-19 within 10 days of the event then you need to stay home and notify UNSPAM. Your ticket may be saved for an alternate 2022 UNSPAM event of your choice, or may be transferred to a colleague.

Potential COVID-19 symptoms include:
• Fever or chills
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches
• Headache
• New loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat

"No shows" will not be eligible for a future UNSPAM event. If you stay home because of COVID risk or illness, please notify us before the event by emailing tickets@reallygoodemails.com, and we'll do everything we can to provide the content of the event or transfer your ticket to an alternate 2022 UNSPAM.
