FAQs
All the questions fit to ask, and a couple extra
• For general questions about the Unspam not covered by these FAQs, please reach out to us at unspam@reallygoodemails.com
• For inquiries specifically about your ticket purchase, email us at tickets@reallygoodemails.com
There is a group discount available for groups of five or more—the more the merrier! Aside from that, we've made a commitment to keep our ticket prices as low as we are able in order to keep Unspam financially accessible.
We won't be livestreaming this event, but we will release recordings of our sessions on the Really Good Emails Youtube channel (we'll announce that in the Really Good Emails newsletter). We like to keep Unspam feeling intimate and focused on in-person connections.
Absolutely! The Hyatt Regency Long Beach has given us a lovely room rate discount, which you can access through this URL:
https://www.hyatt.com/events/en-US/group-booking/LGBRL/G-BEEC
Here's the breakdown of which meals will be included with your Unspam ticket:
• Monday, April 20 - we'll have a Welcome Shindig in the evening at 7pm with beverages and hors d'oeuvres
• Tuessday, April 21 - Breakfast, lunch and dinner will all be provided
• Wednesday, April 22 - Breakfast and lunch will be provided
The last two questions in our ticket checkout form provide opportunity for you to make any dietary or accessibility requests you may need. We want Unspam to feel safe and inclusive for everyone, so please let us know how we can do that for you!
• On Monday, April 20th we'll have early registration from 3-5pm, and then a Welcome Shindig at 7pm. We'd love to see you at the welcome mixer!
• Check-in at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach begins at 4pm.
• On Wednesday, April 22nd, we will be wrapping up around 5:30pm-ish, and we'll have great sessions and opportunities for connection right up until the very end, so we'd deeply encourage you to stick around until then.
If you are staying at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach (and we hope you are):
• If your room isn't ready when you arrive, you can leave your luggage with them at the front desk
• After you check out, you can also stash your luggage with them at the front desk until you're ready to leave
If you are not staying at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach, on Wednesday (last day) we can hold onto your luggage for you until the end of the conference—just find an Unspam staff member with a white lanyard.
We're definitely on the casual side of conferences—t-shirts and jeans are common, but come in what makes you feel comfortable and confident! Opera capes, mumus and old-timey barrels with suspenders are all welcome (though you'll have problems sitting down in the barrel).
You can find the longer write-up on our Terms page, but for the TL;DR
• If you need to cancel and it's more than 30 days from the event start, email tickets@reallygoodemails.com and we can refund your ticket
• If it's less than 30 days to the event start, we can't refund your ticket but we can transfer it to another individual
• If it is less than 30 calendar days prior to the Unspam start date, payments made are not refundable for any reason, including, but not limited to, failure to use conference attendance credentials due to illness or any event beyond the reasonable control of the parties, such as an act of God, natural disaster, travel-related problems, or an act of terrorism
The Hyatt Regency Long Beach offers both self-parking and valet parking, with separate rates for hotel guests and daily visitors, including options for Electric Vehicle (EV) charging via valet; it's located near the Convention Center, with garage entrances on Pine Ave or by the hotel's entrance
Yes, we will be providing the speaker presentation slides to attendees after the conference, and will be putting up the session recordings on the Really Good Emails Youtube channel once we've edited them up all pretty-like.

ContactWhat Makes it Different
Uncrowded
We’ve limited the number of attendees to under 250 to keep our Unspam conference intimate and friendly. Why? Because no one likes being herded like cattle, getting a terrible seat, and being talked to as an anonymous audience member instead of a known individual.

Unconventional
This isn't just an email marketing event to sit and be talked at. Yeah we have speakers, but we also have groups, competitions, games, awards, and more. Come as you are (socks & sandals if that's your thing) and experience UNSPAM with experts who actually do email stuff.

Uncensored
No juicy details redacted by PR or legal. Timely topics from real practitioners, so you get exactly what you need–straight, no chaser.

Unsolicited
You want to learn and enjoy yourself, not to be paraded down an aisle of booths and have your info sold to the highest bidder. At UNSPAM the speakers and events are for you, not the other way around.

Real words from real email geeks
Need to convince your boss?

At Really Good Emails and Beefree, our dream (so lofty!) is to take you from inspiration to creation. RGE curates the best in email design, while Beefree turns that inspiration into reality with intuitive, no-code tools. But great email isn’t just about tools (that would be boring)—it’s about community. We know that when we look for inspiration, we find it in one another's work, and when we create...look, it's inherently communal, right? We rely on the knowledge and techniques we've learned from one another. That’s why we host the Unspam conference. Because we're in this together.
